What is a Personal Protection Bushfire Blanket? (PPBB)

A PPBB is a blanket uniquely constructed from Synthetic Polyacrylate fibre (PCA) which is heat resistant, flame retardant and non-toxic and which provides excellent thermal protection to extreme heat and flame up to 800?C. A Personal Protection Bushfire Blanket can protect you at home, in your vehicle, in the open and could save your life.

What are the applications of a Colan PPFB?

The applications of this innovative new product are numerous and varied. It may be used to lay under in an open space threatened by grass fires, for cover in a vehicle trapped by flames, laid over a fire line or wrapped around an individual to allow for escape from a fire affected area and are also suitable to extinguish small spot fires or even stove fires in the home or in commercial kitchens.
